There are many ways to feed the poor to ease hunger to give more than

expected.

When I was nursing the old folk everyday I hugged and kissed each patient in that place. some drooled, most smelled bad, some were..........use your imagination. Every one of them though looked for me each morning for the touch and for my love.

no money changed hands nor was it an actual requirement of my job. It was my gift.

This poem is making me think a lot about the world we live in.

Re:
Exactly, CC! And that is what is going on - a struggle for the not so well off to survive. It's not about "giving it all away" but about a more just playing field - I commend those who are talented, genius even, with their resources and would not wish to subtract anything from their security, ability to earn and control of their monies. I don't condone thievery, power lust or a narcissism/greed insanity that is so destructive it calls for all of us to follow the lead by turning our backs on those less fortunate. The rich pay a lower tax rate than the working class - job shippers (to countries where the standard of living is tragic for many workers) meet no resistance in the form of high tariffs or extra tax - de-regulation unchecked which creates a ripe atmosphere for corruption - the ability to buy government which obliterates democracy - these are things which can and must be changed for the sake of the masses.
Thank You for your thoughts.

Basically it is human nature to survive Raye if you gave everything away you would not last long. I suppose it brings in the fable of the widows mite. It is a perplexing question and I truthfully do not know the answer.
