Raye...hmmm, I know excatly who you're referring to (I think)....
and it really makes one wonder...I know I'm not perfect in my spelling and grammar, but I always try to check myself....(my punctuation is my downfall)....and I always try to check my opinions, too...

Re:
Spellcheck has a poor vocabulary. I find myself adding to its dictionary often, and I don't mean "orphan".

Well I cannot spell for toffees Raye and type with one finger so hard that I knock the letters off the keyboard, I am wurse than Kubu I cannot spel dislettit. I do agree with you though I am always checking and rechecking the meaning of words, but American is a bit different to the English spelling in quite a few cases and I suppose one tends to (honour) the home version unless commenting on this page.Of course in poetry one twists and turns and manipulates the little fellows until they fall into bed. I wonder though, why if I after E except after C. THEIR is not mentioned.

Re: I am guilty I do always use spell check but not when I am commenting
I've never noticed miss spelled words in your posts, Dear Kabu! I know my grammar sometimes is off kilter; too bad there isn't a quick and easy checker for that..:) And you are open minded and secure in your beliefs.

It's good to vent, Raye.  I also, have a thing about spelling.  And really there is no excuse, since there is spellchecking
