And you are right about DC - round the clock and HUGE protests
should be and hopefully soon will be there. Because the very first step in finding balance to this grossly lopsided economy has to be campaign reform; a total do over. We can't function as a democracy when all of our elected officials are on the payrolls of the 1%. There is a newscaster on MSNBC, Dylan Rattigan who is working diligently and loudly on this exact issue. I have signed the petition and the list of names is growing daily.

Re: No I don't think for a minute that this is anything like the Movement in
Our Congress is owned by banking, financial and corporate heavyweights of which the gurus on Wall Street are a significant part of. I didn't think Australia was doing too badly either but this economic melt down is global and I think whenever standards of living decrease, even in a lessened way, people become frustrated, especially when they look around and see that not everyone is feeling the pinch and some are even profiting or at least receiving huge bail outs so the bonuses and good times will not be interrupted...No common sacrifice in this recession; it is greatly unequal.
You make good points, Dear Kabu. Thank you...

No I don't think for a minute that this is anything like the Movement in
the sixties for civil rights and Peace......I am not sure what it is all about. Personally, I would be watching Congress before Wall street but then it isn't my country and I find the Australian group a bit strange because Australia has not been hit as hard as other countries.
