Yes, I am very fortunate that my wife and I have this kind of relationship. I can finish her sentences, and she mine, and if either of us flub on a word or two, we always know what the other one meant. There's never an argument, and it's always fun. However, she now claims that she's used the word boughten before I did, but I don't ever remember hearing her saying it! Hmmm . . . I guess we'll just have to take duel credit for that one!

Well, you'll just have to wait and see if that particular word comes up again, and then you'll have to jot it down! Eventually, I think we'll all be able to give Mr. Webster a run for his money!

Sure, home-spun words can be great for confusing some of the people some of the time. But when they start to completely understand what you were trying to say is when it's really time to worry!

with a large spoonfull of Aussie-isms....It is a good way to keep the dear man in afun state of confusion.
