Majroj, it is called "the solitary vice" for a reason:
We sit alone with ourselves and whatever is going on in our heads, trying to get it on the page. There comes a time we really have to get out of there and find someone to talk to! And perhaps writers are more grateful than most, for connection because--like getting so busy we forget to eat regularly--we get very hungry.
So what starts as a stodgy old writing studio becomes a coffee klatch.

It's like roll call! I think it is a fine line between socializing and sharing-as-writing. What I find funny is that I have had sparse periods which were punctuated by my breaking in to say I'm not blogging anymore, then going on for a week or two. Silly, just silly.

Well I also don't blog or comment everyday anymore, though I wish I could
it had helped get into a discipline of writing a few words and putting down my thoughts compulsorily each day.
