I find this outragesous also, with so much evidence that he was probably not the one who shot the officer; and that the police intimidated the witnesses to stack the case to just get someone convicted. I am bad to see the old South returning. It is sad about the officer, but convicting the wrong man will not make his unjust death right.

Thou shalt not kill......I don't want to cause stress but i can't accept
the death penalty. I respect the laws of a foreign country and if i broke those laws while visiting i must accept the consequences...i understand that but killing won't bring back the loved one...so long as the offender is never released they are being punished.
