What inspired this post
was that keep on going spirit, full speed ahead, as long as it isn't trampling over someone else and even it is a bit out of bounds (the horns and jaywalking - victimless infractions. And the willingness to slow down and even stop to assist if needed. I realize not all New Yorkers are like this - there are jerks, selfish people and worse; bad apples in every bunch, but for the most part I saw in the inhabitants the above stated and in the post attributes and from talking to friends, acquaintances who know the city and people longer, better than I, my impressions are very similar to their perspective.
I offer an embrace of prayer and well being wishes for the city and her lovers.

It is amazing how folk will bond and make sacrifices when a diaster strikes, all those petty little things are forgotten you still have a great country, good blog Raye
