IF WE LOOK HARD ENOUGH WE CAN USUALLY FIND BEAUTY EVERYWHERE, GOD IS GOOD

I expect the birds will suss them out Ray whatever they are we have moon daisies growing wild. I remember a little lad asking his dad what they were and had to smile, His dad said they be great big daisies. Very educational I thought.

Sunflowers are so perfectly named and the really tall ones are

glorious. I used to grow them in Sydney...here I grow smaller varieties that have more and more flowers.

It was a no breath day here too and Wiley found it much nicer inside with the A/C...me too.

Raye, its a dangerous breathing day here too today...
Temp is 90F but with the humidity factored in it feels  like 110F...not a good day for a walk..

a colorful post today for you, well good on ya...I have always loved sunflowers, I even planted the seeding kind out in the garden this year, they are eight feet tall now and fallow the sun with their blooms from east to west each day...do have a lovely labor day Raye.

Re: Sunflowers, perhaps?
Raintree, I thought so at first, but my memory (which may be faulty, lol) seems to recall sunflowers being much, much bigger. Perhaps these flowers were a minature-ish version - still very eye catching and inspiring, especially considering the locations where they have popped up.
Great to hear from you...

Sunflowers, perhaps?

Amen! They do indeed! And that is why when I buy my next house, in the desert, I am going with indigenous plants for their radiant beauty as opposed to trying to have grass, such a waste of water! sam
