If there is a vote

Remember, folks, we are at war.  Yes, the endless war on Terriorism--no, not the idiological war the people are fighting to bring America back to its Constitutional foundations that allow for discent, changing of the gaurd and instituting new governement, should the elected body fail their oath to defend it (yes, the one WE are fighting, as we are deemed Terrorists)--but that ill defined, ambiguous, etherial monster of Al-Queda type suicide terriorism.  Should an attack happen between August and November 4, 2004, Mr. Bush, as Commander in Chief, can suspend elections until the threat is abated or the END OF THE WAR, whichever would seem to be a more secure environment in which to allow the citizens the opportunity to vote for a successor (not likely) or incumbent (dubiously and conspiciously likely).  Should the polls show Bush to be marginally out of favor, look to the skys, ports or other highly sensitive areas for affirmation.

Jeb...You know, the Next Dictator--

-yeah, him, the Chimp's little brother, well--you'll be tickled here, BrWiSk, he rammed through the Florida legislature in a shady late-night kind of deal the new law that ALL Florida precincts will have these lovely Diebold touch-screen paper-trail-less machines for the elections next fall! Now isn't that special? Talk about brotherly love!

You know what really cooks me here? The total silence the Republinazis display on the network toward this issue. They holler, hypocrites they are, about "freedom" and "democracy," but are strangely silent in the face of the DIRECT attack on them from these machines! Hypocrites, the lot of 'em!

It's a damn shame

I'm with you, brother. This stuff drives me insane. My girlfriend can't take the rants this knowledge logically inspires in me; I'm always talking about it. She just wants "to enjoy the holidays."

While I'm all for having fun (or am I?), I believe my situation is a representative microcosm of the entire society. Nobody cares! I am frustrated to no end! We are sleeping through perhaps the biggest rip-off in history.

I want to vomit. ...on the Republican leadership.
