I hear alot of "fantasies" about sparking a revolution
Tragically there are those who will try to turn them into reality, as seen in Norway...
I wonder if the human race has evolved as much as we like to believe - violence continues to be so easily accepted and embraced - we still have wars and kill innocent people and state sanctioned murders, at times grievously mistaken, yet the gallows stay open. Seeking peaceful resolutions is viewed as a weakness or even as siding with some pre-conceived enemy.
Deep, thought provoking post, Food.

Killing in the name of some god is the real insanity!
It is a historical fact. Some of the bloodiest wars ever fought were fought because of some religious differences. Campaign after campaign, with millions of dead people, all because "god" told them it was a good idea. Here's the exchange: "Do you believe in god?" "No!" < dead!> "Do you believe in god?" "Yes" "Do you believe in my god?" "No!' <dead!> Now we could simply outlaw religion, and these crimes and wars would probably fade away in a generation or two, but we apparently have no time for rational thinking. My heart goes out to the victims and families of these Norwegians.
