Re: C.C...
Actually Rumor one can get a more controlled photo inside, but I was in a hurry and it was sunny at times and then dull I took one with a flash and one normal this is a pure pink as you say the petals reflected the light and a slight breeze did not help, Yes I know the mother feeling.

C.C...

such a light, dainty pink...is that sunlight making the whiteish background in places, or is the flower partly white itself...doesn't matter, its beautiful...

My Mom loved flowers..wish she was still alive to see these pics..she'd love them......

Re: but if the fudge was a slimmer trimmer meal...would it really be fudge?
Are you trying to the issue Kabu.Once I had this money making scheme, I had a lot but I did not make much money from them. My Mum must have been pretty tolerant in those days. I can't quite remember how I did it but it involved boiling sugar and when it was pliable  I extracted it from the saucepan  and eventually after smacking it around I was able to throw it over the back of a chair and pull and work it until it could be twisted some peppermint flavour added and then cut it into humbugs. I expect I sold it to the country folk, but one had to be careful in winter we were always damp and the sweets stuck together very easily. It cleaned the back of the chairs wonderfully. Hey did you ever get locust beans my Mum used to get them out of the cattle troughs when she was a girl. We used to get them in lucky bags years later, but then I think they began to be termed unhygenic. I used to love them they were sticky inside and tasted great. I don't know if I would want to bite them now they might be a bit hard or if anyone else remembers them blackish about 4 inches long with sticky beans inside.
