Re: No 22 is wrong....the word was supposed to be Gnome...because Gnomes
A-ha! A challenge! Well, according to my research, a
gnome is "a diminutive spirit in Renaissance magic and alchemy, first introduced by Paracelsus, and later adopted by more recent authors, including those of modern fantasy literature. It's characteristics have been reinterpreted to suit the needs of various story tellers, but it is typically said to be a small, humanoid creature that lives
underground." So , like fairies, elves and warlocks, I don't believe any such beings actually existed, especially in a cold weather environment like Alaska!Perhaps those particular Alaskan inhabitants were once referred to as
gnomes derogatorially. Either way, I stand by my accounting. Thanks for playing.
