They were taken over by CVS here, too, but CVS decided that the Hawaii consumers would not continue to visit a CVS, so they kept the Long's name here. But all the generic brands on the shelves now say CVS rather than Long's.

It sounds like you kept yourself occupied, even if, it wasn't what you wanted to be doing. They still have Long's there? The ones in CA were all taken over by CVS. I preferred it as Longs.
