I especially appreciate the last one about not being a bore to ones self. I believe, if we continue to be interested in learning & have diverse tastes, we'll never become wearisome.

I am not good around a bore...I try but it is an awful affliction for
someone to go through life with...the ability to bore all they come in contact with.
