No GB I sometimes do not say what I think because it would be too boring and in a strange way I like most people and in a cowardly way if I feel they resent me I try to remedy it. No one really knows the circumstances of another persons upbringing. I expect many rows in families are caused by people saying exactly what they think. No one can get into the skin of every person so if that is the case perhaps it is better to alienate oneself from that entity.

I am more inclined to send a private email if I have a concern
but if I was offended, I don't read.
 But I do honestly believe that people have a right in a democratic environment to write their view so long as they are not offensive and nasty to other people.

I seldom say exactly what I think because I was raised
by a mother who spoke bluntly, one who never taught me the "female code" way of dropping hints and being subtle... Add to that a tendency to stick a pin in stuffed shirts and you can see I was at a distinct disadvantage, socially speaking. The one exception is when someone lies to my face: in that case I speak honestly and from the heart.
