I almost missed this and what terrible sadness to miss such a lovely
drawing. I wanted to be a ballerina ...just as well my parents couldn't afford the dance lessons...I have duck legs!!!!

I loved the sketch so much. This is such a great post and shows the divisions of our lives without overt notice until we are well into the next phase... I am going into the Spring of my ending however long that may be. This is brilliant work, thank you.

Living in the moment is so essential to getting the most out of life, I feel.

Well this hit a chord with me E E. I let the rain clean my windows on the outside of course and I think I have cleaned inside once or twice. Goodness I find housework boring. I wonder what musical instrument you really wanted. A harp always seems rather elegant. Yes I know the feeling the seasons just move round and round becoming faster and faster. What fun digging your treasures out, why did you stop painting? Sorry you still do but I think you could be saleable

We know that in "Matters of the heart" and in what brings us joy,  time never waits. It just won't stop, darn it, lol. It's great that your friend offered to teach you to play.

I am so with you on this one! I did get my front windows cleaned! lol But the things I could do when I was younger wear me out at this stage of my life! It seems at times I need a day to recover! This hit the mark for me for my prime has passed me too! Shelly
