a truly important post to read and it is just true.
When i left my abusive situation, i went straight into therapy to help me grow straight and not remain a victim...it worked too. bless you for posting this.

Some good thinking went into that post. Now at 75 and my psychotherapist deceased, I have come to believe my adult offspring (40's & 50's) are responsible for themselves, they have made their own choices and must live with them. All my choices have been made too, like being part of giving them lives.Now my job is done.
