As TAPS said - your beautiful pictures are surrounded by worried and frustrated words. What a tragedy for Japan! My DIL, who is now a travel agent, mostly for Japan, has had so many trips cancelled. People are frightened by the information, or maybe especially because of the uncertainty of information, concerning the nuclear problem.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful cherry blossoms. Japan is one country I've always wanted to visit. I'm interested in the culture. You mentioned resilience. That's one thing about the Japanese people. Able to forge ahead & bounce back, even during the most trying of times. Japan is still glorious. It will rise again.

Kaboom
Beautiful pictures which makes one momentarily forget the dreadful disaster that has befallen Japan. The news about Fukushima is never clear, it's all rather cryptic and often contradictory. The impression I get is that nobody knows exactly was is going on there, and that is really scary...

if I had a trip to Japan organized I would cancel. It is a cruel and shocking situation and i am so sorry.

Your beautiful photos belie your sad and angry words.  Such a terrible situation for everyone.  So glad to read that you are seemingly all right.  It is a fearful thing to say, time will tell.
