Raye, this poem reminds me of a movie....
"Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", which was pretty sultry stuff when released back in the 50's (or early 60's)...no question about it, the pitter patter or sometimes the clamor of rain hitting a hot tin roof is both sensuous and sultry...

Rain reminds me of joy too, for it brings things to life after winter and cleans my desert and I love it when that happens! sam

This poem reminds me of Okinawa, Japan...a rain forest island in the Pacific...I loved it.
