I'm like that, Pat - cynical to a fault.  And when I get the choice between Heaven or Hell, I'll take them both on a three month trial - then probably find that Hell has been on its first 3 month vacation in a million years.

Hi John.  Your 'fit as a fiddle' description rings true, as you know.  I've been keeping up to date - sort of - and you are a lucky guy, my friend.

As I was saying to TAPS, sam444, I think it's to make sure we're still in the land of the living.

I think it's to make sure we haven't popped our clogs - or an easy way to make money.

I love it. The doc gives you great news and you're fussing about it.
I'm sorry about your friend. There seems no rhyme nor reason why some are taken young and some live "forever." All I know is it is confusing and sometimes distressing.

LOL I was worrying about the same things because I'll be 75 in April. Kabu has made life worthwhile, she carries the expenses with me now so I should be alright to 85.I've survived a heart attack, stents, angioplasty's, enlarged prostate and recently kidney stones in the bladder. Other than that I'm fit as a fiddle-I think. LOL Good to read you John.

wow! I would be bummed if I had to go to the doc for a renewal! My pharmacy takes care of all that for me! How sad on the young lady! And I totally agree with, why some balk is over my head! It's all about providing the maximum amount of security one can within the parameters! sam

Yeah!  Why can't they just keep giving us those prescription renewals after we hit 70 without us having to go chitchat with them?
