When I was working on a US Navy contract decades ago...
I had the opportunity to spend some days in Iceland & Greenland. I was amazed then at the enormity of ice & snow around, like our Shenandoah mountains here in Virginia. The waterslide you talk about would be akin, or even worse than, a massive landslide from our mountains here due to some earthly eruption. The thought not just frightens, but also humbles one as to how dependent we are on Mother Nature's blessings..and we think we humans are the masters of this planet..huh!!
