i agree
she didn't take it as hard as I thought she might, I called Hospice and asked them to come help explain to her why I could not do this for her and they did, I am now however, on her friend list, and from what hospice told me that means they can call me to ask me to check on her, should she not answer the phone, i told them that is definitely not a problem, because either me or my husband check on her everyday at least once a day

You are doing the right thing. God bless you and give you peace in this it is right. You have been taking care of her and loving her now it is time to step aside.
