Raye, I could read and re-read this ~ so moving --- I can 'feel' the marble and the tears, warmth and the danse memories and all --- this is beautiful poetry you write ~ Elyse

A floor of marble atop the castle
must be dried: a tearfall, sweat, passion rules
and magic empowered by eternity's sun
                                                          pools
                                                  blindly unaware
                                            the clocks have all stopped..

VERY NICE READ, THANKS FOR SHARING

"magic powered by eternity's sun"....
only one of many great lines, Raye...has a mystical quality about it mixed with reality's call.....

Re:
Thank you, TAPS, that is great! I enjoyed the Globes too..:)

It is so like the way things are for real.
The Golden Globes last night showed us the glamour and the glitz
and the news tells us who has passed on and that
Zaza fades away.

I liked how the poem could go in many different avenues depending on the reader and circumstances, a universal feel to it! It is a very nice piece that touches on all senses! sam
