No problem Notapoet
You and I were writing about it at the same time and posted within moments. I don't know if you spotted that my first post on it was subsumed by my update..I hate it when that happens.

beachbelle,
No criticism of anyone intended, Doll.  I was just trying to promote a very worthwhile blog while giving credit to where I saw the news first.  I had my TV on, but was paying more attention to the BN than the news when I caught workin-girl's post, quickly checked out the news, commented on her post, and proceeded to make a post of my own in N & P (without giving credit to where I heard the news first).  She belongs on my list of favorites, along with you, Darlin'.

I think a few of us saw it at the same time and proceeded to post.. The first I heard of it was on the TV and so I posted immediately not seeing it on the home page.

Thank You Bunny
I think it was more important than anything else at the time.

Giving credit where credit is due.

Great news it was, as first reported to the BN by workin-girl 1 nearly 4 hours ago.  A few of us picked it up from her and have posted on the event since then.  But she has more reason than most to be monitoring the news from Iraq.  It was her brief post, full of heart-felt joy, that got the ball rolling.  I highly recommend that you check out "Army Wife" in Family & Education and, while you're at it, scroll back to some of her previous posts.  You might want to add her to your favorites.
