I'm sure you know your stuff, and you'll do well...

Here is something to remember:  Even the most practiced speakers get nervous.

I still get butterflies before my radio shows.  Mind you, I have been doing radio show for over three years now.  I get nervous because it matters to me that I put out a good show each time.

My producer gave me a piece of insight once that helps:  Those who are listening are not listening to see you fail but because they want to see you do well.

The same goes for your classmates.  If you do well, it will help them build confidence in the chance that they will also do well.

Deep breath, pick something to focus on (like something on the wall that still gives you the look of looking at your audience) until you get comfortable and you will find yourself making eye contact with your audience before you know it!

As an old accomplished public speaker allow me to offer you a couple of tips. #1- Thank God before you speak and ask for His help. #2- Concentrate on only one friendly smiling face in the group you are talking to. #3-Being nervous means that you'll be very good, just think about that and accept that you will do an excellent job my friend.

Everyone willbe nervous....a few nerves make us try harder I always think..
you know your subject so find a point of focus on the back wall or somewhere and speak slow and clear. You will be fine. I always found peers weremore sympathetic than critical. You have matured and developed a great attitude. I am so happy for you and on Monday you will have my prayers to back you and to help....and that is a promise.

I agree , no worry is worth the time and no time is worth spending in worry
it will all be ok in the end

I think Ann is right
When I had to do these I always used to tell myself that none of the audience were important in my life or remember me (probably often wrong on both counts) and that gave me a lot of self-confidence; I'm sure you'll do fine and these worries will be just...history

FSI, congratulations on a job well done, and not just on this course...
Your oral presentation will be a breeze to you, and it will be fun (just remember the words of a wise sage: "Picture your audience in their underwear") and you'll do fine......
