Well Kabu I'm going to jump over this dismal weather blog onto your next one. I look to you to inspire me to write not to feel depressed.

Thanks for reading everyone and I do appreciate all the terrific ideas
for my fabulous pension win. We did all seem a little down..well some of us anyway, yesterday...perhaps it was because it was Dec. 1 and the beginning of winter. I decided to pick up my spirits ...no not like Naut...with some Spirits...LOL. but with wrapping a couple of gifts and starting the Christmas tree repairs.

I think you got our rain, we've not had so much of it this year

It rained everywhere but here in the bush, Kabu! I am looking out on wonderful, beautiful snow filled trees and hills. I agree with TAPS - is there a mean, invisible gnome wandering around touching us all with his 'desolate-brush'? I did get a giggle from your webbed toes! And is $26 enough to buy a pair of boots or shoes, you think?

Don't let the BL talk you into using your $26 for a photo session with
Santa!

We had rain all day yesterday. It was warm all day, but tonight seems colder.  I'm sure we'll have snow again soon.

Isn't it something when so many of us, including me, write about gloom and doom on the same day.  Something's gotta give.

We got nailed with a ton of rain ourselves in Maryland. Something's going around.

Kabu
The weather's gone mad. There's so much precipitation everywhere .. is it global warming or are the gods angry and need to be appeased? I wonder why they bother to send 26 dollars. You'll have to live on Wiley now.

Kabu

26 bucks a month? Well, think of it as an extra case of beer , that'll make it seem more substantial, LOL...

And you got snow up there? It's sunny and warm down here in the South - I spent most of the day on the beach...

Wow, that should keep you wealthy.  So sorry to hear of all the trouble with the droughts and rain in Australia.  The world is not like it was at one time, say 12 - a5  years ago, for example, and it is good to appreciate anything good that comes our way.  Good idea to stay in.  I did the same yesterday .

Wow!
A whole $26.00 a month..girl you are gonna be so rich!!  I know how you feel about the rain..I hated it when I lived in Texas.

$26? Is that Canadian money?
Save it up for a few months and you can take Wiley out for a movie and a salad.

Kabuski --- don't spend that 26 dollars too quickly ... my goodness that truly boggles me.  And yes, as I pay debts this morning - and all morning (mind you) - I have a  pile of soliticitations and requests even envelopes with money (asking for money) and gifts that I really don't want nor need but they send anyway (and I wonder why would they invest in something and when they 'need) --- shew!!!!  I cannot decide really anylonger where to send a donation.  There's so much need.  I'm only one person, hey!!!!  you could send the 26 dollars to me and I would be certain to add it to a contribution envelope?   ~ --- ah, such the life - go get some coffee and teehee --- snuggle and get back with us.  I love ya' ~ C Elyse xoxoxo

Kabu, you bring up a good question....

Is every country that could feed the poor, or bail out the countries needing it, going to go "belly up" themselves??...

Snowflurries here today and wind chill around -3C....
