Femia - we had a local bookstore close down in the Hill country area where I have my little antique corner...yes, the economy and change in technology also brought about this.  I have so many books all around me.  I haven't had the urge for the kindle or whatever --- I jsut like the feel of a book - I like the rustle of the pages...like the smell - no, I would hope this didn't happen but oh my, it's another sign of the everchanging times.  Very thoughtful write here you have placed in tribute.  Elysia

Well sweetie I have I admit bought a Kindle primarily to use as a dictionary, but it might be useful for a book one cannot source. However I do agree there is something different about owing one's own books and it must be rather sad for you dismantling work that you did and once built to perfection. Try not to be sad you did your best and that is no small thing MB
