Good for you and Wiley
You have to stand up for your self with car dealerships.  We bought a car once that they kept saying was fixed and never was.  I would take Blake (age2) and give him my car keys to play with in the showroom while I would loudly protest the kind of car they had sold us and the service the provided in sometimes well all the time loud, obnoxious and vulgar terms at times.  Then I would ever so gently admonish Blake for trying to open the show room cars with my keys as they scratched the paint on the new cars.  They soon gave us a new replacement.

It seems that there is no more (or very little) under promising and over delivering anymore.

Too often
people think they can push others around because they think...well... they think consumers are idiots!  Good for Wiley for standing up for ALL of us!  This dealership will think twice before pushing someone else around.

Kabu
I like that about Wiley - he's always stood up for what's right...One little thing though - it ain't 600 clicks from Toronto to your estate, unless the driver takes a detour via Montreal, for a little joi de vivre Quebecois...

I hope the burner never again has to get above simmer,
and Wiley's ire does not become roused. Also that you enjoy a million happy miles in your new Ford...

That's called being firm beneath the gentleness, I guess.

Well done to both of you! Wiley for sticking his ground, and you for coping with him doing so!

Kabu I so appreciated both you and Wiley. He did a grand job as all of us should, we deserve to have what we pay for and what we agree to. I appreciate you for doing such a great job of showing appreciation for your man.

Lovely sunny morning here Kabu   but it soon turns murky. I am glad you are having snow tyres fitted  years past we used to fix chains on the wheels when we had snow and it became treacherous. Crawling under a lorry in the snow was not pleasant. I hope the snow melts so you can pick your car up safely make sure there are no scratches or marks the first is the worst.

Yes, kuddos to Poppy indeed!  I am so proud of him!  And hooray that you'll be able to pick up the new car on Monday.    Safe and happy driving and love to you both forever.

and it all comes around --- LOL _ Kabu you made me giggle wholeheartedly with this: Sometimes Wiley is like a good pot roast...slow to cook so that by the time he is done simmering, he is well marinated and well prepared

that is an image that will stick with me forever and a day ~ LOL --- you're too precious in your disappointment and Thank goodness it's all coming sooner now and that free oil change and perks is worth it...eh?  xoxox C Elyse  stay warm, it's even with frost on our grounds today --- ewwww I feel the 'cold' bearing down.
