There is nothing wrong with your logic, Doll. And I, too, would like to see a greater variety. That's why I so often complain about bandwagon jumping. I would love to see so much diversity that good writing in any category could regularly crack the Top 100 and make a run at the Top 10. I would also like to see that diversity from so many different writers that it would become extremely difficult for a handful of bloggers to control the Top 10 and most of the upper half of the Top 100. No bones to pick with the top bloggers other than a lot of sameness. I would like to see them so pushed by other writers that they would have to develop differences, rather than similarities, to remain on top.

Yes I think we are on the same page
The only difference being that I would prefer to see a bigger variety of authors. My personal preference would be for those who post 15-20 to half that and put their strongest stuff here. But that's just me and my logic defies the system.
