I am totally fed up with political correctness...there is no flavour in
society any more. sick, sick sick of it. No I don't want to go around offending other people by spewing hate, but do we have to be so precious? No we don't;;;I can take being teased for my Aussie accent and my slang and the fact that most of my life I hung upside down like a bat because I lived down under.... yes I am sick ofbeing so correct.

I couldn't agree with you, MORE!
I have always thought that we should celebrate our individuality, diversity, and freedom to accept our differences, free from interference by officials or self-appointed authorities. This is heavy-handed pressure to quietly conform to political correctness, for fear of being singled out as a "free-thinker."
I am old enough to remember when our own government was within minutes of passing a law, prohibiting the smoking of banana peel scrapings, when it leaked out that Jerry Rubin and Abby Hoffman had spread the rumor that smoking dried banana peel scrapings would make you feel good! I actually sorta wish that the law had been passed, because then our moronic element of government, would have to admit that they are no more than sheep.
