We have certainly had a long road getting here and some days I honestly thought a cast iron skillet along the backside of his head might not be a bad idea LOL! I'm glad, I decided that was not a great idea.
I have to admit, I sometimes wonder how it is that I got so blessed. I am grateful that I have the life that I have today.

LOL Timmy! Have you tried texting? Until recently I had a rule...more than 5 minutes and you pick up the phone and dial it. I don't love texting most of the time because it can get to be a pain and some people don't know when to quit. Unfortunately because of where Carl is located the signal can be iffy. We manage to get a good amount of time in through the day to actually talk but I never could trade pictures of the moon via landline LOL! There are some benefits.

It is nice. We spend a good deal of time on the phone daily as well but this makes it so we really don't have to miss much through the day.

I think that technology has made us lazy, yours is an example of comfort, of bringing us closer when we are separated by great distance.
