I'm not much for wearing pins (I forget to put them on and take them off) but I love displaying the flag where I live.  I'm thankful to be an American and I'm so thankful to be able to worship in the way that seems right to me.  Good post.

I completely agree and applaud you! We can observe a similar development here in Canada, although it is possibly less pronounced. For one thing, our flag doesn't seem to offend anyone, but maybe I should start wearing an American and an Israeli flag pinned to my lapel! Mind you, I haven't been wearing many lapels lately...

We have similar problems in the UK, although not as extreme. At least we still have Christian worship in schools, and Christianity is taught alongside Islam and Judaism and Buddhism and so on.

A great post and if I lived in the U.S.A. I would join you in placing crosses for sure. I have no idea what the answer is, I do know that there shouldn't even be a discussion on building that mosque in New York. I simply have the faith that somewhere in the U.S.A., there is a new leader ready to take over, that will be able to respond to Islam as the America of old responded to Japan. With their natural God given intelligence, strength and courage.

It bothers me to see how some are trying to remove Christianity from our nation...I like this concept with the cross.

I'm offended that good men and women have died for our right

to make free choice and suddenly a large symbol of that freedom is being squashed.  I don't even know how to respond to this.  I no longer involve myself in political discussion but this is simply bullsh*t!
