Re: C.C....
A bit of a misery when it keeps raining Rumour and one treads through muddy straw, but kids don't mind, I used to like the winkles on little crock plates, but not hygienic now I suspect.

Re:
EE. the site keeps cutting off I wrote once to tell you to look at tiny pigs on the net. Also that a neighbour once  imported some foreign bees, he kept messing around with them and they became angry and killed his dog, it was awful.

C.C....
sounds like Jenny wants to do the driving, or is just being mean, kicking you while you're busy behind the wheel...(relax, ladies reading this - I'm just kidding)...used to always enjoy our city's fall fair, but now only the smaller county towns closeby have them, with all the familiar sights, sounds, and smells...

The County Fair ~ ah yes they are all around.  I can 'see' with these children's eyes and feel the 'excitement' and thrill of the fair surroundings.  I can smell the cotton candy and yes, CC - this poem of yours has simply touched all my senses.  I liked the farmers stalls the best.  I adored the pigs ~ amaze(s) me every time.  But truth be told - I have not been to the County Fair in about 3 years now.  and I missed it this year as well.  I wanted to go and hear and talk with some farmers about the 'bee' situation.   EE

the fair
It sure sounds like kids to me - and nice ones, nicer than I'm afraid WE were, CC.  Reminds me of St. Anthony's Feast over on Villa Avenue, near where I lived as a kid.
