I first read it as drunken cows and then
you were talking about hopping on one foot and I was really confused because the mental picture just didn't jive.  Drunken crow pub talk would be really funny if translated I bet.

Completely  entertaining and enchanting on a gloomy, but sunny day. I have grown fond of crows and their personalities over the years.  They can seem to want to communicate.  Blue Jays are just beautiful.  Nature has it's own elixirs!

Well I am tired of nature today so I am going to be a misery and not say anything

I am actually from Somerset so I know the cider you mean, and a Guinness is much safer :P

The birds sound a hoot though

Oops!  I think your American Grandbaby might be a tad bit drunk tonight Grandmummy!  For a moment, I read "Drunken cows" instead of crows!  Cheers!...

LMAO at the video! Great posts, Kabu - both this one and your gift buying one (catching up here). It's such fun to read you!!!

Kabu
This is so funny. I wish the Blue Jays down here would get drunk and run away from home. I don't think they are the same as yours. They are so mean, they chase the cats even dogs and all the other birds. Looks like you had some serious comedy free of charge today. Loved Benzinha video and loved that blues behind it. xoxoxox

The appreciation you have for the nature around you is wonderful. Like you I have never been too keen on crows. They sort of strike me as bland...

I LOVED this post, Kabu.  Crows are so smart, but that Good-Ole boy mentality seems to cross species!  Guess they have their Jack-Asses, too.....Mal

Re: Birds..................all animals are funny.
Thanks for the giggle, Kabu, remembering the birds and animals that I have seen on t.v. and visualizing them in your garden and your giggling sounds.

I don't know about that expression "as the crow flies" either....
they don't always (obviously) fly in a straight direction.......

I've heard the term "boiled as an owl" but never drunk as a crow.
