I lived vicariously through you on this one, this lovely Sunday. What I wouldn't give for a lazy day! So fabulous to hear that Wiley's on the mend, too. I am beyond glad about that one. Please give him my regards and I'm sure you made him a lovely something or other for supper!

Nothing like a good old lazy Sunday. I'm sure Wiley is going to enjoy that supper...In my state our primaries are coming up on September 14th followed by the general elections in early November.

with the ragweed count being 10 out of 10 (very high), we had a do
nothing Sunday, too...I love our election system here in Canada, especially if its a minority govt....the party in power can still get a lot done, but doesn't dare pull any fast ones, or they'll be voted out and a new election is an automatic...

Independents can get into power there?
I don't think that's possible here - it's all party politics in the UK

I wish our political campaigning was limited to 6 weeks! Sounds like the perfect election system! Once in awhile a lazy Sunday is just what you need and I hope you enjoyed it!

Isn't it just wonderful to "do nothing" and pause!

Yes Kabu I followed this in a lack a daisical manner. The lady didn't appreciate the backlash

from her take over if she had waited a few months, it would probably have been forgotten.

It was a big mistake to try to impose extra taxes on the mining projects especially as they have the workers who feared for jobs. Enterprize needs stimulus. As you say it will all be forgotten in a few weeks. Don't worry I'll vote for you and Wiley

Kabu
I, too, had a lazy Sunday.  "B", on the other hand, who found himself reading and lazing about (something he rarely does) felt it was a waste of a day.  Ummm....  maybe more people have to learn how to be lazy and just truly enjoy it.  LOL  (Oh, I did cook a lovely dinner as well).

I had clean up to do on this rainy Sunday. It's  done enough now, so I'm going to follow your example, Kabu, and opt for a good read!

Both countries so different compared to the U.S.
Much less convoluted and crazed and sooo much cheaper than here, Dear Kabu. When I think of the money candidates spend to get elected, well, just.....lol.
Enjoy the evening!
