I was in complete harmony with this until the last line.
Which was not wrong, BTW. It's just that attraction to youth and beauty
only seems shallow and short-sighted, and not really love, but fascination, a crush, lust, desire, etc. There's no staying power, no loyalty, no sense of meeting challenges together that seem like part of the definition of love and making love between two people. I like your thought-provoking essay. Thanks for posting it.
