Somewhere, in the way back when, I fell into a burning ring of fire.
By this time, it's mostly just ashes, but somewhere down deep, embers remain
that could easily be fanned back to life.

Hi Kabu, you are so right! Thanks for stopping and leaving your comment. What's interesting is I was writing about my intense love for and relationship with Jesus. But after your post, I re-read my poem and realized the poem's message could be interrupted in several ways.

Being consumed by love is awesome! I just wrote a poem based on Scripture, too! The Holy Bible has given me so many wonderful ideas for poems! sam
