The rain has finally stopped
in East Anglia but those clouds still look menacing and our weeds are still smiling up at me...

I hope the great weather continues for you, Kabu!  I'm a black thumb and have no predilections for gardening, but I do live vicariously through others!  Nice post....Mal

I keep forgetting the Aussie Christmas is in summer! Lovely to have that sun and sand and Christmas all at the same time (when it doesn't rain, that is...)

Nothing like a bit of Vitamin D to make your day. I think I might steal some time away up at the rental house, while I'm supposed to be painting, out in the backyard on a blanket in the sun. It would be wrong not to. Thanks for the idea and implanting it in my brain. I do believe that I take after you in the sun-loving area.

Glad you had a good weekend with fun. I liked having sand left over because it meant I went to the beach.  I was strange enough to let some stay in my laundry basket in the corners for years after I left the beach area.

Hope the writing goes well and glad you're not having to do wash after wash and sweeping sand.
