I agree with every word - Most excellent post
Astounds me daily how so many can ignore or seemingly do so with their silence the suffering global, paid for with their tax monies and apathy. Speaking of transparency, I just heard a talking head on the news an hour or so ago declare that the U.S. will be in Afghanistan for at least another decade but that the past years of occupation don't really count because we only began a strategy for victory in the last eight months or so. As if all the money spent and more importantly the lives wasted throughout those years, soldiers and civilians alike, do not matter or "count" one whit...so many will buy this propaganda; boggles the mind..
Keep writing, more awareness calling is needed to counter the hypocrisy and mirage.
