I think the switch is due to the fact that the demcrats are now
counting on the non white vote which could very easily keep them in office,if they receive it.

Well...first of all you must be legal and registered, then you go to the precinct where those little machines are, you fill out your choices, then you go into the booth and vote the straight Republican ticket. It's not hard. Really. Try it just for kicks. You might like the clean feeling when you step outside and the air seems fresher. joab
