Impressive!
Having dabbled a bit lately in tracking down ancestors, I have to say you've done some impressive work going back so far in time! I stopped checking when i got to ancestors who came from Scotland in the 1600s and 1700s. I may go back and dig a little deeper now that you've shown me it is possible! Amazing work--regardless of the results.

Very interesting Timmy!

I have yet to trace my family tree, though my oldest brother discovered that we are related to a Polish king who reigned in the 1400's.  I can't remember his name.

I don't know much about my dad's side of the family (the Polish side) and would like to research further especially since his parents were born and raised in Poland.

Re: Oh I do believe that we are related because my Great Grandmother's family
I have not traced his line yet. Robert the Bruce's wife gave birth to their only child, a girl. His wife died during child birth. Their only daughter married a Stewart, while pregnant, she was riding her horse when it threw her. She went into premature labor, had a c-section and died a couple of hours later. Her only son was Robert II Stewart, king of Scotland. She and her mother were only 18 when they gave birth and died. It will be a while before I go down that line, but who knows, we could be related!!

You have found out a lot about yourself. DancingGrandma has been doing the same thing with her relatives. It's amazing what we can find out about our ancestors with some research. You got a family with many interesting stories.

Oh I do believe that we are related because my Great Grandmother's family

Should I curtsy?..lol, sorry, couldn't resist.
Seriously, this is fascinating, Timmytales. I love genealogy and wish I had more time to devote to it.
