There is a God and he expects us a parents to Sheppard our children and protect them. It is more than just in the New Testament concerns this. It would be better if a millstone were tied around their neck and they be thrown into the sea then if they cause one of these little ones to stumble. If God lives in our heart then we will love our children and we will listen to Gods still and quiet voice concerning what we should do with our children and how we should treat them.

David, children especially need to see faith from their parents, and it helps to deal with lifes's slings and arrows. I have witnessed this "phenom" in my sister's family. It testifies that there is spiritual power, and that mankind has been able to access it in certain circumstances. Good post, and welcome to blogit!
