I blog because

my postings mean to open eyes to a thing we are taught early to close our eyes to and to look only at the pictures left in our minds of something improper and unfit to know of.  I blog to show that lightning doesn't strike, and we do not go blind and that even if a thing has been turned to ugliness, it is not ugly itself and can also be turned to beauty.

I blog because I feel strongly about something.
I blog because--right or wrong--I think I know something that someone else might need to know, but doesn't yet.

It also leads to an exchange of interesting ideas, and online friends, like I have now! Thanks for the visit and support; do please keep praying for Ashish.

Very interesting, Straightforward..blogging has grown by leaps and bounds
makes the head spin sometimes with the information/opinion overload. And freedom of speech is so much more complex than the three words of it imply. Good post!

You are so right about what blogging ends up doing. I have been exposed to many different ways of life and the thoughts that come with those ways. I would like to think that my blogs are a part of this sort of system as well.
