You putting them into the cookies for Wiley?? Is that why he thinks he's twenty-seven and can go all day at full speed???  I Knew that you guys had some deep secrets, living way out there in the boonies.

There is nothing better than watching your love work at something they
enjoy and being there to help them.  I really miss those times. Hugs and many Blessings:)

You know Kabuski --- your attitude is infectious don't you know?  I will sit and sip some coffee (iced) and watch me Dman mow the field (which he likes to do) and after our walk this morning (for the 2 miles he pushed me onto ) with wet rag and iced lemonade for him...ah life is good - and is what me make of it, always Elyse

You are so right Kabu... Anything is better than sitting doing nothing but thinking.  You must be exausted as well... Being the inspiration ... the muse so to speak, drains on's energy :-)  You should both be so proud of that porch!  Enjoy it and your Sunday :-)  xoxoxo

While you may be just hangin' out, you're not exactly idle, Queen Kabu...
Supervising takes its own energy.   What a grand idea it was to have a screened place to read and watch the butterflies and birds.

Last week one of my meal clients, was marveling at her hubby's abilities .
She confided that at the age of 85, he is always busy as a beaver, while she can barely watch him work, without becoming tired, for the watching. I told her that I had always been told that "One does not wear out, we just RUST out!." She laughed and said, "Well, just call me RUSTY and DUSTY!" HA! HA!

Man works
He is used to being busy and retirement has not slowed him down.  You both did a wonderful job on the porch/LB

Kabu
You are such a dear. I can picture the two of you at work, play and joy of being in the company of the other. We love you guys so much. Have a lovely week-end.

Kabu it made me shudder when Wiley said he had to do all those strings. Thank goodness it is nearly finished. It wouldn't have worked out very cheaply if you had hired labor at the start. It will be OK he's nearly finished and you won't have to worry in the winter. Wouldn't it be awful if it didn't snow, if I remember you always lie down in it to have your photo taken.
