Oh my goodness.  And I didn't even read this yesterday.  I hope by now that you are totally recuperated and that you will stay in a/c until the weather cools off and the humidity gets less.  That's a bad thing.  Take it easy sweetie.

Pat I'm 2 liter gal in the best of circumstances
Like Naut said, the heat lately feels like that blast of damp heat I get from opening the dryer to check on the clothes.  Take it easy, and if you're anything like me, stay cool inside till Fall comes round :)

Do look after yourself! That was probably a case of heat exhaustion (rather than true hyperthermia), caused partly because you probably didn't drink enough. Most people don't realize how much water they need to drink in this hot weather. You shouldn't wait until you feel thirsty, something I also have to constantly remind myself of...
