It is a tough era to raise a child! I had to see my house on a short sale to get away from the burden! It is so tough! I think one day at a time is the best way to go, do what you can and call it good for it is all you can do! I have never met a person with three jobs to be classified a failure! You are doing all you can plus you found ways to work and have him in your care! Failures don't do that! You are a success story, the mortgages are tough to pay these days! I have a very nice home that I rent and I tell you the stress is way down! Best of luck and keep plugging along because you will be in good shape because like you say your grin and bear it! Let it rain and go ahead and dance the night away! sam

You're not a failure, Mia.  I don't have any children of my own, but I do know how that feels.  But I promise you, you're not a failure.  Sweetie, you need to take care of yourself in order to be there for E.J., so please be careful?

Keeping looking for those writing jobs.  If your work is good enough-which I know it is-some of them pay very good money.  Prayers for you.

Keep trucking along!
I myself have suffered quite resemblance of what you describe, there were days I didn't want to even go to the store and buy milk for all I had were dimes and nickels to pay with, but gradually and steadily; I had no choice, but to keep trying. I'm still not out of the woods by any means; But I can now use whole dollar bills to buy milk and the dimes and nickels stay in the jar where they belong :)
