We finally have hot weather, but it's supposed to be cooler next week. Earwigs are awful, but they don't bother me. Centipedes are the worst (in Mexico) but I've only seen little ones here in Oregon, and not often. Scorpions are my other "not favorite bug" and thankfully we don't have any in Oregon. Cockroaches are awful, but I am not afraid of them and have killed hundreds of them.

Hot here too, Kabu - and the breeze is not happening. seems there is one more day to go, then back to normal temperatures, according to the Weather Network. You'll get to enjoy your porch soon!

kabu
I hate bugs!! Especially earwigs. Maybe it has something to do with an episode from that show with Rod Serling......Night Gallery.

Don't worry Kabu I'm always doing it with comments. Why don't you write it in Word and copy it onto your site, I hate this spell checker. I rather like earwigs they can fly as you probably know originally called earwings there that doesn't sound so bad. Now I wouldn't want to be invaded by ants.

At least you've got beautiful lupine to look at...
I believe that's the flower (seed pods) my mother used to gather out in the woods and meadows around our place in the Cascade foothills. Seem to remember she sold them to some pharmaceutical company, they were ingredients for something called digitalis.

I've been very blessed when it comes to posting. I have yet to lost a post knock on wood (or keyboard I guess I should say)...Many people feel the same way that you do about the heat...BTW I think a sauna would look great out back.

Kabu, that heat and humidity just won't quit...it was 34 here yesterday
which I think is about 93F, but with the blasted humidity it felt like 101F, give or take....I think the weekend is suppose to be "slightly cooler", whatever that means....I'd be traumatized, too, if a spider ran across my hand...
