DEMS...Two wrongs don't make a right

DEMS... thanks for reading. I am not sure I agree that an activist judiciary will erode freedoms. Precedent setting decisions follow the flow and form of law. Constitutional change also does not inherently protect the rights of Americans. The Defence of Marriage Act is such a case. Is it constitutional to inflict liablilities on one groups civil rights to entrench and further the rights of another group?

Court problems
You have some good points there. A real third party concept with any teeth, will remain only a fantasy because of the powers at play and the history of our nation. Many have tried and failed.

But what is really sad now, is how the Courts are controlling most decisions, legislating from the bench and bowing to liberalism from the EU and UN, instead of the following the Constitution. This will only erode our freedoms further. The decision Wednesday on CFR is the latest case in point.

Back and around again

Thank you dear Sir. Damon I had been away tending to some matters most personal. Now I shall be biting Bush's backside and an occasional rap on the nose for his 'poodle' too. Thanks for reading as always!

Ahhh, There...
...you are!

In the dead of last night I was wondering about you, thinking I'd seen little from you lately.

And now, this gem. Well said, m'lady. Alas, I fear the system has been created now to protect itself. Politics requires vast amounts of money in the US, and the only people who can afford to be involved are the very ones we don't want, tghe very ones who are already entrenched!

I fear I already see tears in the eyes of the eagle.
