Ek, tu
Ek, the saddest part of Afghanistan is that before the Soviet invasion and our subsequent molestation of the Afghan people for our own selfish ends she had a thriving, artistic, beautiful society. That is until we condemned her to the right wing mercies of fundamentalist religious values. We should have cared at least as much about the women of Afghanistan as we did about the poppies.

Excellent point
The Afgani and Iraqi women are going to go from being sheltered and restricted to being objectified and overexposed by Western culture in a single generation...
Americans are monsters, aren't they?
