But surely there would be no litterbugs in the afterlife, shobana?

Re: shobana
Johnmacnab - I thought maybe they were needed to see that the place is spruced up and clean, you know how litterbugs can be..lol.

I'll have to ponder that majroj.  Are you sure this isn't the afterlife?

That's a relief then, shobana - but I wonder why they are needed?

Oh, yeah! Sure!
But hey are there as tour guides and concierges and pool boys...

TAPS
It could be a great pastime for an old lady Taps.  I was in my pre-teens when I did it but watching some television programmes in the evenings, I can see that retired people tend to do things with wood.  Like make birds' nests, and find shapes in tree trunks.  Not only that, but they make money out of it.  mmm?  I wonder if I still have a fretsaw?

And to your question, I think there are cops in the after life. Thanks so much for the visit johnmacnab.

TIMMYTALES
It is very odd indeed, what triggers the memory, TIMMYTALES.

Re: johnmacnab
Fretwork....now there's a word you don't hear everyday.
It sounds like a good pasttime for an old lady.  I wonder if there is still a market for it.  I used to have a couple of distressed fretwork photo frames.  Wonder what happened to them.

TAPS
Please excuse the delay i replying, Taps - I was too busy laughing my head off at the thought of me taking up ballet.....but....believe this or not, but way back in my youth, way, way back when courses were taken by people traveling the countryside, I was entered into drumming classes, and tap-dancing classes. (to improve my social standing, I think). I loved the drumming - so much so that my younger daughter took it up when she was a teenager.  The dancing I enjoyed because of the movement, but I preferred the drumming and ....there was something else...what was it?  Fretwork, that's what it was.  I liked that as well.

I must admit that I watch a lot of the Education Channel on TV because that's where you can see the sensational male ballet dancers in their dance tights.  Did you ever think of taking up ballet?  It is good for gardening posture.

BC-A
You are correct BC_A; it is all orderly.  I am puzzled at times by the covers of ladies magazines; they depict bikini wearing women.  Why should that convince a woman to buy the magazine?  Ell suggests that it is supposed to convince the husbands to buy the magazines - ostensibly for their partners.

The migraine is still affecting me slightly - it will pass in a couple of days.  I can't help wondering if the nasty me in the migraine is the real me.

All the soldiers look like pre-teens as well.  I know what you meant about the Boss and his tight shirts.  It's quite funny to think that my wiggling could make some ladies happy.  I discovered today that my American grandson has the same type of migraines.  I'm waiting for his Mum to remember the name of it.

Thanks Shobana.  I also found out too late that when I married Miss Right, that her first name was 'Always.'

In the aisle of the supermarket a stunning woman of acquaintance passed in the underwear section. I held a pair of underpants that I held to bring up to a register. I thought of bikini briefs. It occurred to me since that I’m single, then I require only regular underpants. She smiled and greeted me. That’s good to know about the policemen. It’s all orderly sir. Bill

What a very special way to remember Kay, too! I could feel your pain with the migraine; I get that orneriness about me when they are very difficult! Snide remarks and even less tolerant of the actions of others! And usually it is the one of least significance that will irk the most! sam

Oh, there must be cute boys in the afterlife...
at least the cops all look like boys to me. As do Marines and Sailors and sandwich makers. It wasn't butts that caught my eye, although one must admire a solid, muscular tush when the opportunity presents itself. I always had a thing for shoulders and upper arms. One good look at a guy like "The Boss" (Springsteen) in a tight white shirt and jeans and I'd be happy for hours.  So if you wiggle when you're weeding, you're doing double duty, and there must be at least 1.1% of those passing strangers who thank you for it.  Hope the headache never comes back...
